Wei Ching specialises in corporate work with an emphasis on investment funds and private equity funds formation and ongoing matters.
She also has experience in other areas of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and capital markets transactions.
Wei Ching is a member of our Corporate & Investment Funds Group. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Wei Ching worked for another leading offshore firm in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. Prior to that, she specialised in commercial and private wealth management work with a reputable full-service law firm in Singapore. She advised high net worth individuals on various succession planning and inheritance related matters, as well as worked with corporate trustees on various trust and corporate structures. She had also advised and represented various ministries of the Government of Singapore to restructure their charitable trust catered to the public healthcare sector, and in contentious tax claims in the Courts of Singapore.
