Beverly specialises in corporate work including listings, mergers and acquisitions, equity financing, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and other general corporate law related matters.
Beverly's experience includes:
- privatisation of a Cayman Islands company listed on the Taipei Exchange by way of scheme of arrangement
- group restructuring by way of series of BVI statutory mergers
- USIPO, HKIPO, PRC IPO
- funds' equity financing for investments in various asset portfolios
- advising investor in relation to a voluntary general offer
- delisting and merger of a listed Cayman Islands incorporated company, and
- advising clients relating to joint ventures, general corporate actions and restructurings.
Beverly is a member of our Investment Funds & Corporate Group. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Beverly worked in an international law firm in Hong Kong where she handled a number of capital raising transactions and compliance matters for a wide range of clients who were principally involved in the aviation, telecommunication and pharmaceutical industries.
She has strong experience in advising clients on compliance under the Hong Kong Listing Rules for corporate actions such as holding of general meetings, preparation of financial statements, publication of announcements and circulars for notifiable and/or connected transactions, inside information, fundraising activities and disclosure of interests as required under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
