Ally focuses on the Asian market with clients from across the region, including China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.
She advises on all aspects of investment cycles – from forming the upstream investment fund to downstream investments. That includes pre-initial public offering (IPO) transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. She also represents companies in listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Taiwan Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and NYSE. Ally is a member of our Corporate and Investment Funds Group, based in our Hong Kong office.
Ally also advises investment managers, private equity funds and corporate clients on a wide range of legal issues, including forming and structuring funds, ongoing compliance and dissolution. She also works on pre-IPO investments and series financing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

Experience and recent work
Previously Ally worked as an associate in the Corporate team at Fangda Partners in Hong Kong, where she advised on a range of domestic and cross-border corporate matters. She was trained at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy (now Milbank) in Hong Kong.
