Michelle Ong is a counsel in the Investment Funds and Corporate Group in Walkers' Singapore office.
She focuses on investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Michelle was a senior associate in the corporate team at Herbert Smith Freehills in Melbourne, Australia, where she advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and corporate restructuring and advisory in cross-border and local transactions across a range of industries. Michelle has also worked in the corporate advisory team at Gilbert and Tobin in Melbourne, Australia, and prior to that, at DLA Piper in Auckland, New Zealand.
