Jolin is a counsel in the Insolvency, Restructuring & Dispute Resolution Group.
She has significant experience in commercial disputes, particularly high-value cross-border shareholder disputes and disputes arising from insolvency and fund related matters. She frequently advises on company law issues involving unlawful dividend payments, directors’ and partners’ duties, and breach of trust situations as well as issues concerning the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards (including under the New York Convention).
Jolin also has significant experience in commercial arbitration, including under the auspices of the ICC, LCIA, HKIAC and SIAC, as well as ad hoc arbitral proceedings under UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Jolin advises on all matters relating to arbitration in the Bermuda, BVI and the Cayman Islands, including validity of arbitration agreements, procedural issues, interim measures, and enforcement of foreign and domestic arbitral awards.
She is qualified in four jurisdictions and has represented clients from various sectors including banking, funds, derivatives and professional services.
