Daniel Walford

Daniel Walford is a senior counsel in the Global Investment Funds Group and is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office.
He advises on a broad range of private equity and hedge fund matters, as well as general corporate and M&A transactions. He regularly acts for major investment banks, fund managers and corporate clients on both fund formation and ongoing transactions.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Daniel worked in the Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions / Capital Markets team of the Melbourne office of leading Australian law firm, MinterEllison. In this role, he gained broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, corporate restructures and corporate advisory acting for medium to large private and publicly listed Australian and international companies across a variety of sectors.
