Camilla Hobbs is a senior associate in Walkers' Guernsey Banking & Finance practice group specialising on a wide range of fund finance, asset finance and real estate finance matters.
She has extensive experience of transaction management, including matters related to corporate jets having acted for both lender and borrower in connection with acquisition and disposal of aircraft and in relation to issues surrounding the Cape Town Convention and acting as borrower counsel in relation to acquisitions and disposals of shopping centres, business parks and other flagship and high-value assets for a major real estate investment group.
Camilla has been instructed across the full range of fund financing matters under Guernsey law, covering subscription, bridging or asset-specific finance, including negotiating the Guernsey aspects of facility documentation, advising on security structuring and drafting and agreeing security documentation including security over capital call rights.
She has also advised in relation to distressed loans, debt restructuring and enforcement procedures.
Camilla has 14 years' experience of offshore finance practice, and has been recognised by Legal 500 and IFLR for the quality of her work.
She has authored and co-authored the Guernsey chapters of legal guides to Fund Finance and Aircraft Finance transactions.
