Jack Ellison is a Senior Associate in Walkers' Insurance practice group based in Bermuda.
He specialises in transactional and regulatory matters, advising (re)insurance carriers, intermediaries, investors and other key stakeholders in the (re)insurance market.

Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Jack was an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher (UK) LLP in London working in the corporate insurance and financial services team where he advised large multinational (re)insurance groups with a Bermuda nexus on high profile strategic M&A projects and restructurings. During his time at Willkie, he also provided advice on a variety of ILS transactions spanning collateralized reinsurance, sidecars and catastrophe bonds.
Before starting his legal career, Jack was an underwriter for certain (re)insurance carriers in both the London and Bermuda (re)insurance markets, and so has particular experience in the (re)insurance sector.
