Miriam advises clients on corporate matters and investment fund matters.
Miriam specialises in private equity and hedge fund matters with expertise in general corporate and M&A transactions. She regularly acts for major investment banks, investment managers and corporate trustees, advising on a variety of investment fund structures.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Miriam worked in the Corporate Securities group at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP in Toronto, Canada where her primary focus was on capital market transactions such as public M&A, joint ventures and go-public transactions as well as corporate finance transactions such as public offerings and private equity offerings. She advised public companies and investment dealers in a broad range of industries including mining, cannabis and technology.
Miriam also advised public companies and start-ups in connection with various corporate and commercial matters including supply agreements, partnership agreements and other corporate governance matters.
