Andrew advises on all aspects of corporate and investment funds law, regularly acting for public and private companies, investment managers and private equity sponsors.
He advises on structuring and forming funds, as well as downstream transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals. He also works on initial public offerings (including special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs)), take privates and ongoing matters for Cayman Islands public companies.
Andrew Barker is very knowledgeable and able to marshal and shepherd his wider team very efficiently and effectively. He is always available and able to deal with matters at short notice.
Experience and recent work
Andrew joined us in 2012 and previously worked in the Corporate team of Travers Smith in London, where he specialised in private equity.
