Mark is a member of our Global Finance and Corporate Practice Groups, and heads the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands Asset Finance team in London.
He has extensive experience of advising on both British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands laws, and covers a range of finance and corporate transactions. Those include listings, aviation and maritime finance, and special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) activity.
Mark has a busy lender-side finance practice, and also works with private banks in London and Switzerland focused on aviation, maritime and real-estate financing for high net worth individuals. He joined us in 2012, and has been recognised by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner.

Experience and recent work
Mark previously worked in the London and Singapore offices of Linklaters in their Project Finance team. This is also where he trained and qualified, advising public and private companies, asset-management groups, banks and other financial institutions on project, acquisition and structured financings, syndicated and secured bank loans. He also worked on inbound and outbound financing transactions for the energy and infrastructure sectors. As well as this he did a three-month secondment at Rio Tinto plc.
