We are pleased to have acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Aquiline Capital Partners, a private investment specialist with $11.3bn in assets under management, in relation to their significant growth investment in Catalyst.
Catalyst is a technology focused financial services firm providing independent fund administration, financial accounting, and corporate services to more than 700 entities across the U.S., Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas. Aquiline's investment will further enable Catalyst to scale its business and deliver the next generation of technological capabilities to serve its customers and continue to adapt to the evolving market.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).
Our Cayman Islands team was led by corporate partners Andrew Barker and James Murrie, along with investment funds partner Christine Ballantyne-Drewe, and regulatory partner Ian Mason, supported by senior counsel Callum Wright and associate Samantha Currie.
We were pleased to support Aquiline in this significant deal with our highly experienced, multi-disciplinary team.
