Noeleen Ruddy Named 'Structured Finance Lawyer of the Year' at Women in Business Law Awards

Walkers Partner Noeleen Ruddy has been named 'Structured Finance Lawyer of the Year' at the Women in Business Law Awards which highlight firms that support the development of women in the legal profession.

Co-head of the Walkers' Finance and Capital Markets team in Ireland, Noeleen was crowned winner at an awards evening in London yesterday.

The Lawyer of the Year award recognises the outstanding achievements of individuals who stand out as leaders amongst their peers and who have been instrumental to innovative approaches in their field.

Noeleen said that she was honoured to be recognised.

"I am delighted to be named as Structured Finance Lawyer of the Year. I would like to thank my peers for their kind words during the interview process."

Jonathan Sheehan, Managing Partner of Walkers' Ireland office, added: "Noeleen has been instrumental in the growth of our Ireland office and, in particular, in the success of our market leading Finance and Capital Markets practice since we first opened for business in Ireland in 2010. Noeleen was also shortlisted for the Debt Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year award and the firm was shortlisted in the Ireland category.
