Tatziana Paraguacuto-Maheo is a partner in the London office and heads the London Investment Funds Group.
Tatziana has over 21 years’ experience, including 14 years practicing Cayman Islands law.
Throughout her career Tatziana has acted for major financial institutions, investment funds and asset managers based in London, New York and Hong Kong including the launch of many of the world’s largest institutional and entrepreneurial investment managers. Tatziana has advised on many of the leading hedge fud launches over the past 14 years –her clients include well-pedigreed managers launching their first funds and some of the largest hedge fund managers. Tatziana’s experience includes structuring hedge funds, private equity funds, hybrid funds and funds of funds, and accommodating seed and strategic investments. Tatziana regularly advises fund clients in the fintech space particularly investment managers launching fund cryptocurrency or digital asset funds.
Tatziana advises on all legal aspects affecting funds including launch of new products, restructurings, acquisitions as well as regulatory, contentious and governance issues.
Tatziana is a frequent speaker, notably at the International Bar Association, and author on issues facing the investment management industry including, most recently, on Cayman structuring considerations for the Alternative Investment Management Association Journal.
