Matt specialises in Cayman Islands investment funds and across all asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure and digital assets.
A member of our Investment Funds Practice Group since 2020, he works with some of the largest global asset managers. This includes advising on the full life-cycle of funds, as well as regulatory matters.
Matt is also a trustee on the UK board of Help for Children, a global charity established by the hedge fund industry.

Experience and recent work
Before joining Walkers, Matt worked in the London-based Investment Funds team of another leading international law firm. He has been advising on Cayman Islands law since the start of his career in 2008. He initially qualified as a barrister.
