Our particular areas of expertise include:
- Financial services: advising clients in the financial services sector (including financial institutions, asset managers and administrators, investors, issuers and arrangers) on the tax treatment of a range of transactions involving Irish issuers, platforms or assets, including capital markets transactions, distressed asset acquisitions and disposals, securitisations, direct lending, investment funds work and aviation and shipping matters.
- General corporate tax: advising on the Irish tax aspects of domestic and international mergers & acquisitions, corporate migrations, inward investment, and domestic and global restructurings.
- Real estate: advising on the Irish tax aspects of real estate transactions, including on the structuring of Irish and non-Irish real estate acquisitions and disposals.
- International tax: advising on cross-border transactions, international funding structures and, across our offices in the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda, and Ireland, on automatic exchange of information (AEOI) and international tax reporting obligations (including FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS))
