Tiffany Williams is an assistant vice president at Walkers Compliance and Regulatory Services in the Cayman Islands.
Tiffany has over 10 years' experience in the financial services industry in the Cayman Islands and specialises in regulatory compliance, AML, CTF, financial regulation and policy and procedure development. She serves as an Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer to a range of investment structures.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers Professional Services, Tiffany has gained a comprehensive working knowledge of laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, rules and best practice standards related to the professional and financial services industry.
Tiffany was previously employed as an Assistant Accountant at a CIMA regulated insurance institution where she was responsible for reconciliations, record keeping and preparation of monthly financials and thereafter at a "Big 4" accounting firm where she progressed through various levels of increasing seniority gaining expertise in cash projections, preparation of financials for multiple jurisdictions, monthly accruals and other accounting duties.
Prior to specializing in AML services, Tiffany gained broad experience administering a wide range of asset and structured products, including bespoke aircraft, ship financing, structured note issuances, securitisations, note programmes and Sharia compliant Islamic finance transactions and managed an extensive portfolio of regulatory clients to ensure they were in compliance with applicable FATCA/CRS regulations by all relevant filing deadlines.
