Senan Kemp is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office where he is an associate in the firm's Global Investment Funds Group.
He specialises in the establishment and structuring of both open and closed-ended investment funds, regularly acting for leading investment managers and private equity houses. He also advises on the registration of mutual and private funds and their ongoing regulatory compliance.
Senan is a member of the FinTech team at Walkers which advises FinTech businesses on projects associated with blockchain, digital assets and a range of related activities, including the establishment of cryptocurrency funds.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Senan worked in the investment funds group of Arthur Cox LLP in Dublin, where he advised on the establishment and ongoing regulatory requirements for a variety of funds including UCITS, QIAIFs, real estate funds and exchange traded funds.
