Sam Francis is a senior counsel in the Global Investment Funds Group of Walkers' Cayman Islands office.
He advises on a wide range of private equity and hedge fund matters, with particular expertise in private equity and M&A transactions.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Sam worked in the Corporate group of DLA Piper, where he focused on private equity, mergers and acquisitions and global reorganisations. In this role, he gained experience in acting for private equity houses on complex, cross-border downstream transactions as well as large conglomerates on their global corporate restructurings.
Sam also previously worked for Dickson Minto where he focused on capital markets, IPOs and general public and private M&A.
