Christine Fox is a Senior Counsel in Walkers' Jersey Banking & Finance Practice Group, with more than 15 years' experience in private practice in onshore and offshore roles in the UK and Jersey, focusing on real estate financing matters.
She advises on the use of Jersey Property Unit Trusts, Jersey partnerships and Jersey companies in the context of property holding structures for UK real estate assets. She has also advised on BVI law considerations in respect of real estate finance matters.
Christine specialises in real estate financing, secured lending and Sharia compliant and acquisition financing matters, advising lenders, borrowers and trustees – she is ranked by Legal 500 as a Rising Star for Jersey Banking & Finance work.
She has been admitted as a Jersey Advocate since 2010 and spent two years working for the States of Jersey in the Legislation Team at the Attorney General's Chambers, including on teams preparing for Moneyval assessments and the introduction of the Security Interests (Jersey) Law 2012.
