Erin Diachkoff

After starting her career in Sydney at top tier law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, Erin spent 8 years working at Aon, a leading global (re)insurance broking and risk management firm, in various roles. She acted as legal counsel supporting the direct insurance business, advising on regulatory and licensing matters, facilitating a broad range of transactions including financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial. In her time at Aon, Erin also worked extensively in the reinsurance business, where she was a reinsurance contract wording specialist, and held roles on the Senior Leadership Committee, Operating Committee and various Risk and Compliance Committees.

Erin joined Walkers in their Bermuda office, where she developed a valuable understanding of Bermuda insurance regulation and the Bermuda (re)insurance market, giving her a unique international and offshore perspective. As a result of her extensive dealings with insurers, reinsurers, asset managers, government bodies, intermediaries, managing general agents and other industry stakeholders, either as their representative or as the representative of their counterparties, Erin has a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and objectives across the industry.
