Ciaran is part of our Global Finance & Corporate Group.
He advises on Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law related to general banking, asset and project finance, acquisition finance, Islamic finance, structured finance, private equity and general corporate transactions.
His clients include major regional and international banks and financial institutions, investment groups, oil and gas companies, sovereign wealth funds and aviation businesses.
Ciaran also advises on capital markets transactions, focusing on Sukuk (Islamic bonds). Since joining us in 2011, he has led an offshore team advising on a number of innovative transactions and market firsts.

Experience and recent work
Ciaran previously worked in the Banking and Finance department of Clifford Chance in both their Dubai and Hong Kong offices. He completed his training contract with the same firm in London. Here he specialised in a range of finance matters, in particular, cross-border project finance and acquisition finance transactions.
