Rajah Abusrewil

Rajah is a partner* of Walkers (CI) LP and leads the Jersey Private Capital & Trusts group. She advises local and international fiduciaries, family offices and ultra-high net worth individuals on wealth structuring.

She specialises in Jersey, Guernsey and Bermuda law. Rajah has experience both in private practice and in house, and more than 19 years’ experience.

Rajah also specialises in advising international families and family offices establishing, administering and ending trusts, foundations, family offices, and related structures and regularly works with clients to create bespoke solutions for their family requirements.

Rajah also leads the Middle East desk for the Channel Islands, focussing on international business development in the Middle East, coordinating with multiple offices.

Rajah is a committee member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Jersey Branch, and she regularly speaks in the Middle East, London and Bermuda.

Experience and recent work

Before joining Walkers Guernsey office in 2019, Rajah was a Partner in a Guernsey law firm, having also previously been a multi-jurisdictional in-house counsel for an international trust company in the Cayman Islands.

Rajah moved to Walkers Jersey office in 2023.

She is a practising Bermuda barrister and attorney, having qualified in Bermuda in 2009.

She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2005.
