"The Walkers bursary scheme allowed me to develop both personally and professionally. I was able to fully emerse myself in the world of offshore law. I had a hands on experience where I was able to assist with client work and also attend various client meetings as well as having numerous networking opportunities. I was fully guided and supported by the excellent lawyers at Walkers, their advice and guidance was second to none. Being exposed to all different practice areas was invaluable. For me personally, I continued to learn the importance of resilience and adaptability within the work environment, this was made easy for me once again by the tremendous support and mentorship that I gained during my bursary scheme with Walkers" Lailie, Former Bursary Student
"If I were to sum up my time at Walkers in a few words, it would be ‘guiding, helpful and welcoming’. I was given a wealth of knowledge by all of my mentors in each department, they each went above and beyond to ensure my time there was informative, interesting, and useful so that I could make an informed decision about my future in law. My experience at Walkers intensified my desire to pursue a career in law in Guernsey. I am grateful for the kindness that every member of staff showed towards me and the time that they took out of their days to speak with me. I will always carry with me, the connections and relationships I made with everyone in the office." Carys, Former Bursary Student
