- Has completed secondary schooling by the commencement of the legal internship programme and has been accepted into an accredited law degree from a commonwealth institution; or
- Current enrolment in an accredited law degree from a commonwealth institution.
Accredited law degree includes a Bachelors of Law (LLB) (or equivalent); Graduate/Postgraduate Diploma in Law (GDL/PgDL); Legal Practice Course (LPC), Bar Practice Course (BPC) or Solicitors Qualification Exam (SQE) from a commonwealth institution.
Our Summer Legal Internship Programme is an invaluable opportunity to see first-hand what life as a lawyer is like. Through our carefully designed programme which aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, you will develop skills, acquire legal knowledge, and gain insight into industry-leading transactions while building relationships with legal professionals.

What you'll do
As a legal intern you immediately become a part of our global team. For five weeks you will be exposed to live matters and undertake true-to-life legal tasks while working with associates, senior associates, senior counsel and partners in a core or key to core practice group. You will also have the unique opportunity to meet and collaborate with other legal interns within the Walkers network.
