Walkers' Jersey team advise on establishment of The Greening Jersey Trust

Walkers is proud to have advised pro bono on the establishment of The Greening Jersey Trust, in association with Jersey Finance (the "Initiative"). Senior counsel Sian Langley and senior associate Adam Fellows advised on structuring and establishing the Initiative, with Sian Langley also serving as a member on the committee. Vistra and Santander International are also waiving their fees and providing trustee and banking services to the Initiative.

About the Greening Jersey Trust

The Initiative has been created to support environmental enhancement, nature restoration and the rewilding of areas of Jersey. The Initiative will provide Jersey Finance members with the opportunity to contribute to, and participate in, local environmental projects and will work in collaboration with local expert charities to identify sites and projects that will benefit most from the Initiative. The first charities involved are The National Trust Jersey and Jersey Trees for Life. Jersey Finance members can become participants in the Initiative by making an annual contribution.
