Walkers have advised Pandox AB (publ) on its acquisition of DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre in central Edinburgh.
Working alongside UK law firm Burges Salmon, the Walkers team advised on the British Virgin Islands (“BVI”) law aspects of the £49 million acquisition.
The Walkers team was led by London partner Neil McDonald, with partners James Denham and Jennifer Maughan, senior counsel Benjamin Twidle and senior associates Tom Esler, Catherine Outerbridge and Tom Harbord also advising on the deal.

Pandox is one of the largest hotel proprietors in Europe, with a portfolio encompassing 160 hotel properties across the continent with a market valuation of approximately £5 billion. This transaction will expand Pandox’s current holdings in Scotland, where it already owns the Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile in Edinburgh, the Leonardo Hotel in Inverness and the Leonardo Royal and Radisson Blu hotels in Glasgow.
