Walkers advise Equitix on sale of UK power network operator Electricity North West to Iberdrola

Walkers' Jersey team has advised Equitix on its sale and exit (as part of a consortium) of 88% of the share capital of North West Electricity Networks (Jersey) Limited ("NWEN") to Iberdrola S.A. Walkers acted as Jersey counsel to Equitix, working alongside Ashurst LLP as lead counsel. The sale values NWEN (inclusive of all equity and debt) at approximately €5 billion, with the consortium sale equity having a value of approximately €2.5 billion.
