Walkers acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Zapp Electric Vehicles Group Limited on its listing following the business combination of Zapp Electric Vehicles Limited with CIIG Capital Partners II, Inc. (CIIG II), a special purpose acquisition company sponsored by CIIG Management II LLC. Zapp Electric Vehicles Group Limited, a Cayman Islands exempted company, listed and commenced trading of its ordinary shares and warrants on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “ZAPP” on May 1, 2023.

Zapp Electric Vehicles Limited, founded in 2017 by a group of automotive professionals and mobility experts, is a UK-based, high-performance two-wheel electric vehicle company that is committed to bringing high-performance to urban mobility through original, advanced design with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer experience, and an emphasis on sustainability. The company’s debut product, the i300, is a high-performance electric city bike. The i300 has received widespread acclaim, including recently winning the prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award.
