Onyema advises on a wide range of finance transactions with a specific focus on fund finance, representing sponsors, borrowers, banks and lenders.
Onyema's practice specialises on all aspects of fund finance liquidity solutions including subscription line facilities, NAV and hybrid facilities and other management facilities and GP support lines.
Onyema's experience also includes acting for multinational corporations, private equity sponsors, hedge funds, financial institutions and portfolio companies on a variety of finance and corporate matters across major international and emerging market economies, including in areas of leveraged and acquisition financing, real estate financing, asset-based bankruptcy remote SPV financing and project financing covering Africa, the Middle East and other Emerging Markets.

Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Onyema worked in the finance departments of Latham & Watkins and Ropes & Gray International in London.
