Karen Ellerbe is a Senior Vice President at Walkers Fiduciary Limited.
She has extensive experience serving as an independent director for structured and asset finance SPVs of all types, including for private equity, technology and venture capital funds.
Karen's main focus is on the provision of independent director service to US CLOs in the middle market space along with the BSL CLOs and increasingly CRE CLOs. Karen works with all of the major arranging banks, trustees, US law firms and accounting firms as part of her role and provides independent solutions for cross trades.

Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers Fiduciary Limited, Karen was employed in the Corporate and Commercial Banking unit of an international bank in the Cayman Islands where she originated and managed a portfolio of domestic midmarket loans. Karen has also worked for two other fiduciary services providers over a span of ten years where she provided independent director and administration services to a wide range of SPVs, including those formed in the DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre), investment funds, securitizations, private equity and venture capital structures and hedge funds.

Education:
- BBA in Finance, Stetson University
- MBA, International College of the Cayman Islands
Karen is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association.
