Christian Bourke is an associate in the Global Investment Funds Group of Walkers' Cayman Islands office.
He advises on a wide range of private equity and hedge fund matters, with expertise in general corporate and M&A transactions. He regularly acts for major investment banks, fund managers and corporate trustees on both fund formation and ongoing corporate matters.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Christian practised as a senior associate with Herbert Smith Freehills in the corporate sector, focusing on equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and crisis disputes/investigations. In this role he completed a secondment to the COVID-19 taskforce of the New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet.
He also previously practised with Clayton Utz in the corporate sector, focusing on equity capital markets.
